DEPRESSION
I am in Depression ! Really??? Depression is a term that is often being misused lately. Everytime someone is heartbroken, sad or unhappy people term it as depression. We are using this very loosely, with very little understanding of the word depression. What is depression? Depression is a psychological problem. It is a low state of mood leading to aversion to activity that can effect people's thoughts, behaviour, feelings & sense of well being. It's not a permanent problem. Good news is that if someone would choose to work with their depressed feelings they can easily overcome it. Few tips to overcome our sadness or low mood 1 - Connect to people even though you would dislike it. Call friends and meet them. 2 - Be around children. If you have a child play with them or visit a garden. Your mood will be uplifted as children vibrate with immense positive energy 3 - Make a list of things you are grateful for in life. Sometimes a reminder of small pleasures can lift away huge weights of pain. 4 - Do something that the child in you would enjoy. Any activity that requires lots of physical ability and mental presence. Play a board game , Dance etc 5 - Lastly every mistake is a lesson learnt so use your awareness learn the lesson and move on. Remember let's not get stuck on that one event or situation that's making you depressed . Life is much bigger than what you may be feeling in that moment.
